Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible?
We serve children, youth, and adults with ID/DD and related support needs. Eligibility for Medicaid/waivers is set by Alabama Medicaid and the Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH). We’ll help you understand your options.
What funding sources do you accept?
Alabama Medicaid (including EPSDT for those under 21), ID/LAH/CWP waivers when the service is approved in the plan, and selected commercial plans or private pay. Coverage varies—please verify benefits.
Is transportation covered?
For Medicaid‐covered appointments, the NET program (1‐800‐362‐1504) may help pay for rides (schedule in advance). We can coordinate with our NEMT team where available.
Do you offer telehealth?
When clinically appropriate and permitted by payer/state rules, telehealth may be available—ask our team.
What if I need help now or in a crisis?
We’re not an emergency or walk‐in crisis center. If there is immediate danger, call 911. For a mental‐health or substance‐use crisis in Alabama, call or text 988 24/7.
How do I get started?
Call us, send a referral, or schedule online. We’ll confirm goals, review benefits, and coordinate a start date.
